Found out the hard way that pressure treated lumber from Home Depot is soaking wet half the time

I bought a bundle of 2x4s for a shed frame last month and after 3 weeks of letting them sit in the garage they were still warping so bad I had to trash half the order, has anyone else had this issue with their local yard or is it just the one near me in Tulsa?

Well, letting them sit inside like that will actually speed up the warping, not slow it down.

My sister tried the same thing with a stack of old LPs she found at a garage sale back in 2018. She figured keeping them in the car's trunk would be fine since it was climate controlled. Turns out the afternoon sun turned that trunk into an oven and three of them came out looking like potato chips. She still has one of them hanging on her wall as a decoration because she thinks it looks artsy. But honestly, you can't even play it anymore, it's that warped. So yeah, your point makes a lot of sense to me.

Yeah totally, I've had luck leaving them upright in a cool closet instead.
