Hot take: buy the Harbor Freight angle grinder first, not the $180 one
Everybody in my local woodworking group keeps saying to skip the cheap stuff and save up for a nice grinder, but I watched a guy at the Phoenix swap meet run a $19 Harbor Freight special for 45 minutes straight cutting rebar with zero issues. I've had mine for 8 months now and it still starts on the first pull, so I'm not sure why we all pretend you need to drop $180 before your first cut. Anyone else still running the cheap one, or am I just getting lucky?
