Paint sprayer vs roller for kitchen cabinets - sprayer wins every time

I spent 4 days last spring rolling out cabinet doors in my own kitchen, getting frustrated with brush marks and uneven coats. Then a buddy loaned me his Wagner sprayer for the base cabinets and the finish looked like factory work in half the time. No brush strokes, no drips if you thin the paint right, and I cut my labor from 4 days down to 2 afternoon sessions. Has anyone else made the switch and wished they did it sooner?

Yeah but isn't spraying way messier though" - only if you can't tape stuff off.

My buddy Mike tried spray painting an old dresser last month. He didn't tape off the handles or the edges. Now that dresser has green spots all over the hardware and the mirror frame looks like a Jackson Pollock painting. He spent more time scraping paint off the floor than he did actually spraying the thing. Tape and some newspaper would've saved him a whole Saturday.
