Spent a whole Sunday trying to level a concrete slab for my shed base

I poured a small 8x10 slab for a shed three weeks ago and thought it looked fine by eye. Then I put a level on it and found a 2 inch drop across one corner. Ended up chipping out a whole section with a rented jackhammer and redoing that corner with a bag mix. Three weekends later it's finally flat but I could have saved myself 20 hours if I had just checked with a string line before the pour dried. Has anyone else had to redo a pour because they skipped the last check?

A 2 inch drop? That's basically a feature for drainage.

My friend's driveway had that and her car bottomed out every time... @ben_fisher

Jackhammering out a corner the day after is the worst feeling ever. I learned that lesson on a paver base and never skipped the string line again.
