Whoa, hold on. ONE sentence? That's crazy. I've been doing trim work for years and I still mess up crown molding (miter cuts are the absolute worst). I can't believe he just looked at your mistake and had a single line that fixed everything. That's the kind of old school knowledge you just can't buy at a big box store.

My uncle ran a machine shop for 40 years and had a whole wall of "one sentence fixes" written on index cards taped to his toolbox. He said every trade has em, its the stuff you learn from bleeding on the job not reading about it.
