TIL the hard way: bolt-together vs welded steel for a 12 foot gate
I framed a gate last spring with bolt-together brackets because I was too lazy to drag the welder out of the truck. Eight months in and the whole thing sags so bad the bottom corner scrapes the driveway. Anyone else regret skipping the weld for convenience?

Did you try tightening the bolts after winter, or is the whole bracket just garbage now?
