My barber in Tucson told me the same thing last month. I sent a text asking if he could fix a spot he missed and he said it read like I was blaming him. I was just trying to be clear, not mean. Then I rewrote it with "hey man, no big deal" at the start and he got me in same day. Crazy how one or two words change the whole feel of a message. Now I always read my texts out loud before sending.
