I paid $47 for a cold email template pack and it actually got me a meeting
I was stuck on how to pitch my web design work, so I bought a set of templates from a guy on Twitter. The first one I used was for reaching out to local shops, and I sent it to 15 places. Three wrote back, and one booked a call that turned into a $1200 project. Has anyone else found a specific template that works for them, or was I just lucky?

What was the main hook in that template, like the first line that got them to open it?

What if the subject line was just their company name?

Imagine the spam folder lighting up like a Christmas tree. Just the company name feels lazy and screams "mass blast". You gotta give people a reason to care before they even open it.

The one that worked best for me just opened with a specific compliment about their website, like "your product photos are way better than most shops around here." That got way more replies than any template trying to sell my services upfront. I also kept it short, like 4 sentences max, and made sure the first sentence was about them, not me.
