Lost $60 on a bad email template service I found on Instagram

I saw this ad for a company called QuickTemplates that promised done-for-you email sequences for pitching clients. Paid $60 for their 'pro package' and every single email was full of generic lines like 'let's connect and synergize.' Not one of them worked, and I ended up writing my own follow-up from scratch anyway. Has anyone else wasted cash on those template shops that just recycle the same stuff?

Bruh I fell for the exact same trap last month, what a total waste of money.

Whoa hold on, I gotta push back on the ChatGPT thing a little. Not everyone knows how to prompt that thing right to get good results. I've seen people ask it for an email and get back something way more robotic than 'let's synergize' honestly. But yeah, paying for a template service off Instagram is always a gamble... they just repackage the same buzzwords everyone hates. At least you learned the lesson for sixty bucks instead of something bigger.

Let's connect and synergize." Yeah that's rough. I get being annoyed but also, you paid $60 for a service you found on Instagram. What did you really expect? Those places just scrape the same lame corporate phrases and throw them in a template. You probably could have asked ChatGPT for free and gotten better results with a little editing. At least now you know those Instagram ads are mostly junk, which is kind of obvious.
