Old school follow up email vs. the automated drip campaign...
I used to hand write every follow up email to clients, personal and all that. Took me about 30 minutes per person after an initial pitch in Denver. Then I tried a 5-part automated drip campaign last year, just tweaked a template from here. The open rate jumped from 20% to nearly 60% and I booked 3 clients within 2 weeks. It felt less personal at first but the numbers don't lie. Anyone else ditch the handwritten approach for something automated?

60% open rate and 3 clients in 2 weeks is solid but I've seen those numbers from people just trying to sell the template too. Open rate doesn't pay the bills you know, it's the booking that matters. Still feels like you traded a personal touch for a numbers game, not sure that's always a win.

Yeah emma that numbers grind can feel empty when you lose the real connection with people.

Dropped my own numbers game last month when I realized I was messaging people faster than I could remember their names. Had a client call where I spent five minutes trying to figure out why this person sounded familiar. Turns out I had already sold them the same package three months earlier. Real smooth move on my part.
