Short pitch emails get more replies than long ones
I always wrote lengthy email pitches. Everyone in my circle said more detail meant more trust. Then a client told me they ignored my last three emails. Too much text to sort through. I made a new template with just a question and a link. Replies came in fast. Now I keep pitches to a few lines. It cuts down on back and forth. Simple works best for busy people.

Not always true for me. Some clients need the full story before they'll even click a link. Would a one-line email really build trust with a new lead?

A full story can work, but in my experience long emails just get skipped. People trust clear and useful info, not a lot of words.

See, harper412 has a point about clarity, but it's not always true for everyone. I mean, some people really do need the full story to engage. Maybe it's just me, but I've seen both sides.
