Vent: Was totally against using a sign-off in my pitches, but a friend's success story made me flip.

Added a simple 'talk soon' at the end and now my emails get way more hits back.

Is it really the sign-off doing all the work though? I mean, @tara_martin has a point about confidence, but maybe your whole pitch got better around the same time. Could just be a coincidence or your friend's luck, idk. Feels like we overthink these tiny details sometimes.

Tara's right about the confidence boost, but Logan has a point too. Changing one small thing like a sign-off can make you rework the whole email to match that energy, so everything gets better.
