Appreciation post: the old boy in Bakersfield showed me how to set a corner post in clay
Two weeks back I was sinking my 6th corner post on a job outside Bakersfield and the owner's grandpa wandered out to watch. He told me to pack the clay back in wet and let it set up before I hung anything, instead of fighting it dry like I always did. Took me 3 extra days on the whole run but every post came out dead plumb, so what's your go to move for clay ground?
