My toddler keeps running into my work zone when I'm putting up fences.
It's a safety nightmare. I've tried setting up a play area but he just ignores it. What do other fence guys do with little kids around?

Honestly, how dangerous can it be? Toddlers are basically made of rubber. @felix_miller50 mentioned safety gates, which sound smart, but I've seen kids climb over those in seconds. Maybe just work faster and hope for the best?

Nothing says job site safety like a toddler playing chicken with fence posts. That age group has zero fear and will find every hazard you missed. I had to get creative and use actual fences to block off my work area, like a playpen for tools. It feels silly, but it beats a trip to the emergency room. Schedule the heavy work for nap time or when you have another pair of eyes on the kid. The goal is to finish the job without your helper becoming a permanent part of the fence line.

Tyler's idea works but actual safety gates are cheaper than fence panels for that job. Kid barriers need to be quick to set up and move, not permanent.
