Charged $50 for my first logo design and the guy asked for 8 revisions
I quoted way too low because I was nervous, and then spent 4 hours on changes for a gig that should have been a flat $150 with 2 revisions max. Has anyone else had a client treat your first price like a negotiation starting point?

The guy knew exactly what he was doing. First time freelancers get eaten alive by clients like that. Why did you let him go past the first three revisions though? Did he keep saying "just one more small tweak" until you realized you were trapped?

Did you try to set a hard limit on revisions before you started? It's brutal out there, and they'll keep pushing until you draw a line in the sand. I've been there too, it's a tough lesson to learn but it doesn't make you a bad freelancer.

Yeah, I figured one more wouldn't hurt and then suddenly I was two months in with no end in sight...
