Charged $75 for my first logo gig, then a guy at a Denver meetup asked me one thing that stung
I priced that logo by guessing what felt fair for a 3 hour job (about $75) instead of what the thing was actually worth to the buyer. A guy at a freelancer meetup in Denver asked me what the buyer planned to do with it, and when I said it was going on a storefront sign, a truck, and 500 shirts, he just laughed. What tips you off that you've been pricing the hours instead of the result?
