Just paid $75 for a template pack and it saved me from guessing my first freelance logo pricing
I was stressing over what to charge for my first logo gig last week, so I dropped $75 on a freelance pricing template bundle and it had actual market rates by region plus a calculator, has anyone else used templates to set their prices instead of just winging it?

Did you actually make more money from using it or is it just a confidence booster?

For real, the first project I used it on I caught that I was about to undercut myself by $200 because I forgot to add in software subscription costs I pay monthly. That one fix paid for the template like 3 times over right there. But the bigger thing is it stopped me from doing that panic pricing where you just throw out a number and hope it sticks. Having a written breakdown made me actually defend my prices to clients instead of awkwardly agreeing to lower them. If you're already confident in your rates it might not help, but if you've ever second guessed yourself mid-conversation it's worth trying.

$75 for a template to guess at pricing sounds like a waste of money.

The template I tried had a section for tiered pricing based on volume discounts which actually made me think more about my costs. $75 is steep but if it saves you from leaving money on the table on just one deal it pays for itself. Most of us just guess numbers or copy what competitors charge without any real math behind it. I messed up pricing on my first few projects and lost out on hundreds because I didn't factor in hidden costs. Even if the template is just a starting point it forces you to write down all your expenses first. Honestly the confidence from having a structured approach helped me raise my rates without feeling like a scammer.
