My first client offered $200 for a full site audit, but I see people charging $50 for the same thing.
I think that lowballing just to get work makes the whole market worse for everyone. Has anyone else had to argue for their price against a 'cheaper' competitor?

Cheaper clients are usually the worst ones anyway.

Oh man, this reminds me of my friend who does graphic design. She took on a client who wanted a full logo for like fifty bucks. The guy asked for, I kid you not, twelve rounds of changes. He wanted it to look "more corporate but also fun" and sent her a picture of a cartoon frog as a reference. She spent hours on it and he still didn't pay her on time.

My cousin's client asked for a "vintage futuristic" website and then ghosted after three mockups.
