Spent 3 hours troubleshooting a simple PDF export issue that should have taken 10 minutes
Lost a whole afternoon trying to figure out why my client's logo was blurry in the final file, and it turns out I had the resolution set wrong in export settings the entire time - has anyone else burned way too much time on a basic tech hiccup during their first gig?

Ever notice how the simplest settings are always the ones that sneak up on you? I spent an hour once trying to figure out why my car's check engine light was on, and it turned out the gas cap wasn't tight.

Oh man, that's one of those things you only fall for once lmao. I did the exact same thing with my old Civic, spent like 45 minutes googling codes and checking hoses before I remembered the gas cap thing. Now I always give it that extra click or two whenever I fill up, just to be safe. Pro tip: if you get a check engine light and the car's running fine, always check the gas cap first before you start pulling your hair out. Saves you a lot of time and a possible trip to the mechanic lol.

Hah, that's exactly the kind of thing that makes you want to throw your laptop out the window! Resolution settings are like the gremlins of the design world, they'll get you every time if you're not careful. Had a similar moment where I couldn't figure out why my exported files looked like pixelated messes, and it was just me forgetting to check the resolution dropdown. At least now we know those little settings can bite us in the butt if we overlook them lol.
