Tried charging $50 flat for a logo and now they want a whole brand guide for free
I quoted my first design job at a flat rate based on a simple logo, but after I sent the first draft, the client emailed back expecting a full color palette, font choices, and social media icons all under the original price, which taught me to write a bulletproof scope document before I ever name a number.
