Tested wet floral foam versus dry foam for a wedding gig
I did a big centerpiece order for a wedding in Austin last month and tried wet foam on half and dry foam on the other half. The wet foam held the flowers way better and they lasted 3 extra days before wilting. Has anyone else noticed a big difference between the two?

Hold your horses there. Wet foam is basically a swamp for stems, it drowns them faster than dry foam. Dry foam lets you control the water yourself, just water the arrangement daily and you get way better control over the whole thing. Most of the wilting issues I see come from people overwatering with wet foam, not from dry foam being bad. Plus dry foam is way easier to stick stuff into without it turning into mush halfway through the event. You probably just got lucky with that batch of wet foam or the flowers were already super fresh.

Bet wet foam's been standard in pro shops for decades, guess they're all just lucky lol.
