That $300 filler flower order from a wholesaler I trusted is sitting in my fridge
I ordered specific spray roses for a wedding, got delivered something totally different with no warning, and the bride's mom noticed right away. I had to re-buy at a premium retail shop to fix it, so I'm out around $300 plus the waste. Does anyone else double check their bulk shipments the second they arrive, or is that just paranoia after this?

Oh man, that stings. I used to be way more laid back about checking deliveries, like, just glance at the boxes and trust the invoice. But after getting burned once with greens that were half dead and a different color than what I ordered, I learned my lesson fast. Now I literally open every single bundle and count stems before the driver even leaves my driveway. It feels paranoid sometimes, but honestly, catching a mistake right then is way easier than trying to get a credit or replacement two days later when they say it's your fault for not checking. Your $300 mistake just saved you from a bunch of future ones, trust me.
