The grocery store cooler taught me something about my flower fridge
Stopped at a big chain grocery in Denver to grab milk and found myself staring at their flower case. Every stem was packed tight, standing straight, and the temps felt even near the door. I checked my own fridge at home later and realized I had way too much airflow kicking around, which was drying out my hydrangeas. Switched to a gentler fan setting and added a few water picks for backup. Took about 3 days to see the difference in stem crispness. Anyone else ever pick up tricks from random retail displays?

Huh, I actually think steady airflow keeps my stems fresher longer.
