Vent: My cooler died overnight and I lost 40 bunches of ranunculus
Woke up Tuesday to a compressor that just quit on my old True unit, and the temp inside was already pushing 70 by the time I walked in at 6am. I pulled everything into the back room with a box fan and wet towels, but 40 bunches of ranunculus from a grower in Watsonville were already toast. Feels like the old walk-in we had at the shop on Grand Ave never gave me this kind of trouble in 8 years. Anyone got a brand they actually trust for a small cooler, or am I better off just leasing one?

That "pushing 70 by 6am" part hits home, my True did the same thing two summers ago and I lost a whole batch of stock. If you're staying small just lease one with a service plan, the repair bills on an old unit will eat you alive either way.
