My first 3D virtual tour got 400 views in one day

I spent 8 hours last week shooting a Matterport tour of a townhouse in Portland. The listing agent posted it on Instagram and it blew up. I did not expect people to actually watch the whole thing. Has anyone else seen a big jump in interest after adding 3D tours to your listings?

Ha, welcome to the club! I had a similar thing happen with a mountain cabin tour last summer and it turned into a whole side business selling virtual staging packages.

Casey, I feel for you. That first 400 views sets a weird pressure, like now every walkthrough for a basic two-bedroom has to have mood lighting and a soundtrack. I had a listing hit 500 once and suddenly clients expected drone footage of the neighborhood for a condo. It's exhausting trying to keep up with that accidental standard.
