Noticed something weird at an open house in Portland last weekend

I went to check out a property for a client in the Alberta Arts district. The realtor running it had set up these little QR codes by every light switch and outlet, linking to videos about the home's history. Honestly, it was a smart way to keep people engaged without hovering. Has anyone else tried something like that for their gigs or seen other creative staging tricks?

Yeah, my buddy was looking at a flipped house in Denver and they had these little scannable tags on the cabinets that linked to renovation timelines and contractor names. @abby_fisher you're right about the coffee strategy, but my friend said it backfired because people just scanned everything and then asked twice as many questions. He swore he'd never use them after that, but I bet for a normal open house it's genius.

Those QR codes sound perfect for keeping nosy buyers busy while you grab a coffee.

Funny how everything's got its own little sign now, like the world's turning into one big museum.
