Spent $200 on a virtual staging tool and it felt like a ripoff

I bought a virtual staging subscription last month for $200. They promised realistic furniture that clients would love. But the lighting looked fake and the shadows were all off in my photos. Has anyone found a good one that doesn't cost a fortune for freelance staging?

Did you pay extra for the 'fake lighting' upgrade too?

boxbrownie was a total waste for me too, spent $150 and the shadows were just as bad. The main thing is most of these tools don't handle rooms with weird angles or low ceilings. I've had way better luck with free trials of BoxBrownie or even just using GIMP's clone tool to fix shadows in my actual photos.

my buddy spent $200 on boxbrownie for his weird triangular living room and the result looked like someone had just blurred the shadows. total joke. @faithpatel i hear you on gimp though - i've been using the heal tool on my dining room photos for months. takes forever but at least it actually works. speaking of weird angles my sister tried to use that service for her kitchen which has a sloped ceiling and they just sent back the original photo with a filter slapped on it.
