Stopped by that new co-working spot on Peachtree and totally changed my mind about open floor plans
I've been avoiding open layouts for years, thinking they're just loud and distracting. But I had a meeting near there last Tuesday and wandered in. The way they set up those little phone booth things and the quiet zones actually made it work. I could see myself getting actual work done there. Anyone else find a space that surprised them?

Yeah I get what you mean about the phone booth things. That's the only way an open layout works for me too. I tried one downtown once and couldn't focus until they put in those little nooks.

Smith.lee is spot on about those nooks being the key. Put a few of those around and suddenly the whole space feels more manageable. Found one place near Atlantic Station that had a whole silent floor above the main area, which was a game changer for me.
