Tbh, I thought cold calls were a waste of time until a Tuesday in April

Honestly, I was having a rough month and decided to just power through a list of 50 expired listings in the Tampa area. On call 47, a guy answered and said, 'You're the first person who didn't sound like a robot.' We met that afternoon, and I signed him for a $425k listing by Friday. It was just pure luck and persistence. Has anyone else had a random call turn everything around like that?

Pure luck" is selling yourself short, honestly. You made 63 calls for a reason, you kept going when most people would have stopped. That persistence is what made that listing happen, not some random chance. If it was really just luck, you wouldn't have gotten it on call 63, you would have gotten it on call 10 or something.
