Walked through a new condo complex yesterday and saw 3 different agents from the same brokerage showing the same unit

I was checking out some new builds in Austin and noticed three agents from the same office giving tours of the same one-bedroom unit at the same time. Each of them had their own client, but they were basically competing against each other without knowing it. Do you think brokerages should stagger showings or does that just slow down the sale?

Were all three agents from the same team or just the same brokerage? That makes a big difference in how they handle the overlap.

Three of my own clients put in offers on the same property once, all from different brokerages but all using me as their buyer's agent. I actually think being from the same brokerage makes things worse, not better, because you get that weird competitive energy in the office. But @andrew_baker9, if they're all from the same team under one managing broker, overlap is actually simpler since one person has full control over who gets priority. I've seen teams split commissions and handle it cleanly when everyone knows the rules upfront, whereas separate brokerages just bicker about procuring cause for weeks.
