I finally hit the wall last Wednesday with my filing backlog

After putting off my quarterly filings for way too long, last Wednesday I had to get 8 different state forms done in one day. I messed up the Nebraska form because I rushed it, missed a deadline by 3 hours because their system cut off at 5 PM sharp. Has anyone else had one of those days where you just knew you should have started a week earlier?

Have you thought about setting up a simple spreadsheet to track cutoffs for each state's system? I started doing that after a similar screw up with a 4 PM deadline in Colorado, just a column for the state name and their hard cut off time. It might save you the headache of watching that clock tick down again.

Shifting time zones on a spreadsheet just keeps half the problems hidden too.
