That week I got paid in cash by three different clients in a row
Last Tuesday a freelance writer handed me $450 cash for a small editing job, then Thursday a local bakery owner gave me $320 for fixing their menu layout, and Friday a neighbor paid $200 for a resumé rewrite. Has anyone else had a random streak of people actually being ready with cash instead of making you wait weeks?

Feels good when people just hand over cash like that, no waiting around or chasing them down. Had a stretch last summer where three small remodeling jobs in a row paid me in twenties and fifties right on the spot. Makes the whole week feel smoother when you don't have to wonder if a check is gonna clear or if they'll ghost you.
