Serious question, my portfolio feedback delay cost me a contract.

I spent ages tweaking my site after suggestions. By the time it was ready, the client hired someone else. Move fast or lose out.

Does every movie really need to be spotless to be good? I totally get what you're saying. A small plot hole often doesn't ruin the whole show if the rest of it works. Why do we fixate on the one thing that went wrong? Sometimes the fun of the story matters more than every detail lining up.
