Added a revision cap clause after a June disaster
I had a client go through 14 versions of a single logo in June before I finally put my foot down. That was 10 revisions past what I normally allow and it ate up two full weeks of my time. Has anyone else had to renegotiate mid-project because they underestimated how many changes a client would want?

Fourteen versions for a SINGLE logo? That client must have been paying you by the round of edits because otherwise I don't know how you kept your sanity. My record is twelve versions of a business card layout and by the end I was just moving the phone number two pixels left and right to humor them. Revision cap clauses are basically self defense at this point, like a helmet for your calendar. Hope you charged them double for round ten through fourteen.

Hang on, you had to move a phone number two pixels left and right and they actually noticed? That's wild. I thought I was the only one getting pixel level feedback on stuff that looks exactly the same to everyone else. My brain would just short circuit after a round or two of that.

Haha yeah I've definitely been there, moving stuff a single pixel just to pretend I was doing something useful.
