Saw a client's before and after contract - 3 revision limit changed everything

A buddy of mine showed me his old contract vs his new one where he capped revisions at 3 per project. He went from 8 week long projects to finishing in 2 weeks flat. Has anyone else seen a similar jump after adding a hard revision cap?

Yeah that tracks, 3 revisions basically forces people to actually think before they ask for changes lol.

Used to hate caps on revisions but honestly yeah this totally changed my mind.

For real, the 3 revision cap is a game changer once you realize it saves everyone from that endless back and forth nightmare. Used to just burn through days going back and forth over minor stuff until I set a similar rule, suddenly clients actually wrote down all their notes at once. Paired with a quick 15 minute kickoff call to nail down the basics upfront, @paige_bell81, and you'll barely ever hit that third revision anyway. Before the call is over just ask them to email you one list of everything they want changed and stick to it.
