That week I told a client '3 rounds max or I walk' and they actually respected it
Had this one client last spring who kept asking for tiny tweaks on a landing page - thought I'd never get paid. I finally said no more after the 4th revision and they paid the final invoice the next day. Anyone else had a client push back on limits then just back down?

Wait, wasn't it 3 rounds you told them, not 4? Because it sounds like you let it slide one more time before you actually put your foot down. I get it though, clients can be pushy and sometimes you gotta let them get that last tiny tweak out of their system. The thing is, once you say "no more" and stick to it, most clients do back off because they know you mean business. It's like they test you first to see how far they can go, and when you finally snap, they realize they pushed too hard. Good for you for holding that line in the end.

Yeah, @black.oliver, that reminds me of a buddy who let a client slip one extra revision too.

100% with you and @rosepark, three rounds firm is the only way I've stopped scope creep.
